A local resident recounted the terrifying experience of witnessing the tornado approach, expressing gratitude that her family remained unharmed.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer declared a state of emergency for Branch, Cass, and St Joseph counties, emphasizing the state's commitment to coordinating resources and support for those impacted. Emergency management officials continue to assess the damage and initiate recovery efforts.

In Oklahoma, a tornado carved a destructive path approximately four miles long to the south of Tulsa, according to Okmulgee County emergency manager Jeff Moore. Emergency responders are working swiftly to clear roads and assess the damage. The Okmulgee County sheriff's office reported two fatalities in Beggs, Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt has declared a state of emergency for several counties, including Alfalfa, Creek, Grant, Major, Okmulgee, Rogers, Tulsa, and Wagoner, to ensure that affected residents receive the necessary support and resources following the storms.
